So close to objectivity, then I thought about it.
This series is composed of images created with the camera on my phone being activated in my pocket. When I first noticed the images I thought they were visually appealing and an interesting novelty. It wasn't until after discussing the subject of Photographic objectivity and mechanical reproduction in college that I started to reconsider these images in terms of objectivity. After some time thinking about these images and their possible claim to being objective, I came to my conclusion which is summed up in my choice of title for this series; “So Close To Objectivity, Then I Thought About It”. In other words once information is subjectively interpreted it can no longer be considered objective.
